“After much research and constant Pinterest searches regarding micro blading, I convinced myself to do it! I met with several Atlanta based micro blading technicians and knew I found my perfect fit within minutes of meeting Kirklyn. Let’s be honest, having your face tattooed is no small decision. Kirklyn was so informative, patient, and very attentive to my concerns. We agreed to “ baby step” my process. I had such light… ok really no eyes brows. Picture 90s waxed off at nail salon eyebrows. That was me! Once Kirklyn and I agreed on our process, she began my transformation. 2 hours later and honestly, very little discomfort , Kirklyn asked me to sit up and gave me a mirror. “If you’re even considering getting your eyebrows microbladed by Kirklyn, this is your sign to DO IT. My only regret it not booking an appointment sooner, it’s so life changing. I’ve looked at alot of the artists in the area, but Kirklyn’s work made me only trust her to put a blade to my face. Her work is literal art, the way the brows are so beautifully shaped and natural looking. In the initial beginning, Kirklyn answered all my questions concerning the difference between the normal microblading and a combo brow. I was hesitant because I wanted a natural look but was tired of filling in my eyebrows every morning. So she recommended the combo brow(realistic hair strokes with some slight shading on the tails) which I agreed to. I told Kirklyn the style of brows I prefer and she mapped out my brows and drew an outline. You’re then able to take a look at the outline of your brows. It’ll appear kinda scary looking, but it’s just the outline and she stays within it, so trust the process girlies and lads!! The first round of strokes is done without numbing cream. It doesn’t hurt but I would describe it as uncomfortable. Then she applies this hospital grade numbing cream and you don’t feel anything at all after. I have been in love with my eyebrows the second I saw them. She’ll give you a cute little care bag for your eyebrows and instructions for your aftercare. The healing process is something else but worth it as long as you follow her instructions!! It’s been insane just waking up with dream brows instead of looking like a naked mole rat and not taking over an hour filling in my brows. I HIGHLY recommend:) I just went back for my initial touch up appointment and can’t wait for these brows to heal because I know they’ll look so good!! The shape is everything, Definitely worth your face and money :)”

“At the recommendation of my photographer, I decided to take the plunge and get my eyebrows microbladed before my wedding. BEST DECISION EVER. I do not have enough good things to say about Kirklyn - she happily responded to millions of my questions over Instagram and is amazing at making sure you know exactly what you are getting into with the procedure (since it is a semi-permanent tattoo and not something you should do on a whim). Before and after care is so important to make sure her work lasts and Kirklyn provides all of the information you need. The actual procedure was less painful than I imagined and her attention to detail and hygiene is flawless.

I still send her selfies regularly because I cannot get over how amazing my brows look and it is true that you feel confident wearing less makeup when your eyebrows are perfect when you wake up! While I got this done for my wedding, I will continue to go to Kirklyn as long as I am in Atlanta (and probably even if I move).”

“I could absolutely not be happier with my eyebrows! I had them done initially about 2 months ago with my touch up this past week and they are perfect! When they were done initially, Kirklyn drew them out to verify that they were exactly what I wanted, and verified that they were symmetrical both lying, sitting and with facial expressions. “Kirklyn is very professional and talented. Having microblading saves me a lot of time when getting ready and I get so many compliments on my brows.

She talks you through the process as it’s happening and recommends the best pigment for you. The actual process isn’t super painful, just a small scrape feeling throughout. Brows will be much darker and bolder for the first few weeks and right after the 6 week touch up, but trust her recommendation on a pigment and follow the aftercare diligently for best results.

Some flakiness and tenderness is normal, but goes away once brows are healed. If you are very oily or want a very defined and bold brow, powder brows may be a better service for you, but again, Kirklyn will evaluate your skin and suggest the best option.

KIRKLYN CHANGED MY LIFE Y’ALL! I have always had very sparse, lightly colored eyebrows and dark hair naturally. I started attempting to fill them in with makeup at 11 years old because I was SO self conscious. For years I would refuse to get all the way in a swimming pool or a lake because I was terrified I would rub my eyebrow makeup off.
